Communication data stays on the phone
NoRing does not upload or remotely score the communication data it uses for protection.
- Contacts, call logs, phone numbers, call decisions, protected history, and call learning profiles
- SMS/MMS bodies, attachments or local attachment references, sender IDs, recipients, participants, and message metadata
- Inbox and Quieted decisions, corrections, Sender Rules, local classifications, drafts, search queries, and learning profiles
Messaging delivery is separate from NoRing protection
When you send SMS/MMS, Android and your mobile carrier transmit it to the intended recipient. That user-directed delivery is separate from NoRing's local protection and developer-operated services.
Internet services do not receive communication data for protection
Internet access supports optional install and purchase verification, Google Play updates, ads and consent, Remote Config, and user-controlled diagnostics. NoRing does not send call or SMS/MMS data to those services for protection, advertising, marketing, analytics, or cross-user scoring.
Free protection and optional support
Call Protection and SMS Protection remain free. NoRing Plus supports continued development and removes ads while active; it does not unlock or strengthen protection.
Why NoRing fits this search
NoRing protects calls and SMS/MMS locally without an account, cloud or cross-user communication scoring, or advertiser access to your communication data.
